It has a good introduction to group theory, which is the principal branch of mathematics that deals with the topics needed to understand symmetry, and it covers some types of symmetries usually neglected, like color symmetry. It's not at a very high level, which is goo|About the Author|Rosen holds a degree in physics from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem. A professor for many years, he retired in 2000 and has since been a visiting professor in the Department of Physics at The Catholic University of America, in Washington, D.C
