I was expecting it to include images of all of Spencer's completed Wilderness Paintings, but it only includes five. Spencer planned to paint 40 scenes, developed sketches for 18, and finished eight. (The paintings included are: "Rising from Sleep in the Morning," "Consider the Lilies," "The Scorpion,"|About the Author|Stephen Cottrell is the Bishop of Chelmsford and was formerly the Bishop of Reading.
